With Paul Jr working full time we have made great progress. The sitting room has new walls and ceiling and the porch outside of the back door has a new ceiling. Paul Sr managed to put in a few hours connecting up the kitchen plumbing, and Peter made a brief cameo appearance to assist with the porch ceiling.

At this point we figure that the internal work will be finished in about two more working days by Paul Jr. During this time he will install cornices in the sitting room, lighting in the office, sitting room and port, install the two smoke detectors, and do some trimming work in the kitchen, and help install a light underneath the kitchen cabinets. After that I expect to work alone for the next 2 months doing painting, finishing the floors, doing some minor carpentry, etc. I am looking forward to being able to work at my own pace and giving my back balance a rest. (Next week I will publish information on my expenditures to date.)
