Back from Sandstone

I am back in Perth after having taken a week-long break with a road trip to Sandstone, about 700 km NE of Perth.  Five of us (and the dog Shelley) went in two cars, Brenda's Suzuki and my X-Trail.  There were Brenda and Stephen, Coral, who owns the holiday house in Sandstone, and Joy, a friend of Coral's.  We spent a night at a quaint cottage at Ningham station (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=ninghan+station&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=ZOOSU5y5B4OpkwWB7oHgDg&ved=0CC8QsAQ&biw=1366&bih=604) on the way up and on the way back, in order to break the journey.   We all enjoyed the sunny blue skies during the day and the bright stars at night.

Anyway, I'm back and will resume work on the house tomorrow.  Before I left I gave the office floor a light sanding and put down a 3rd coat of Estapol.  In the next 3 days I'll put a 3rd coat on the dining room, sitting room, and bedroom floors.  After that I'll spend a day or two sanding the wood paneling in the living room and office and have them ready for varnishing when I move into the house.  Cleaning the sawdust from all of the surfaces inside of the house will then take another day.  After that I'll spend 2 or 3 days fitting curtain rails in 9 windows then with the help of Brenda will hang the curtains.  At that point I'll be ready to start moving back into the house.  I'll establish a primitive beachhead then spend weeks being selective about what pieces I will move into the house, either from storage in the garage or newly purchased.
