There was a surge of activity during the week and Paul finished the roofing of the little out building and almost finished the roofing of the house. For some reason he did not order enough material to fit along the edges of the roof to cover the barge boards. (Barge boards are heavy planks that run just below the edges of the roof.) In the coming week he expects to fit the last piece along the barge board and finish the guttering and "downcomers" (gutter drain pipes). That will mark the completion of the roofing job.
