Minor but Surprising Find

The periodontist who will perform my molar implant gently suggested that I lift my game regarding oral hygiene, to 2 brushes and one flossing per day.  I have taken his advice and two weekends ago decided to go one better and move from manual to electric tooth brushing, so I purchased a rechargeable electric tooth brush at Big W for about $25.00.

Yesterday I was looking through some of the plastic storage containers in my garage and stumbled across an Oral B electric tooth brush made by Braun.  I pressed the switch and to my amazement it started working.  I was surprised because this was the first time that the unit had been touched in at least 6 years and yet it was still holding charge,  There was a new replacement brush next to it so I thoroughly cleaned out entire unit, replaced the head, put it on charge, and gave myself my first ever electric tooth brushing that afternoon.
Surprise from Garage

I figure that Arnold left the electric tooth brush behind when we departed on the circumnavigation in early May 2008.

The new tooth brush from Big W is still in its pack unopened and I'll keep it as a spare.

I'm sure that there are more surprises waiting for me in the garage,
