I moved a set of shelves from the garage into the office, so as far as I am concerned my modest office is complete, except for decorations that I will put on the walls. The shelf unit is made of solid wood, including its backing, but will need to be sanded and re varnished. There will be a paper shredder in the near future, and the USB router located under the desk will be replaced with a wireless one.

I invested two hard hours in dragging the clothes dryer from the garage and mounting it on the laundry wall. The unit tested out OK but then developed a glitch that caused the RCD safety to trip out every time that I tried to run the dryer in either hot or warm mode. That was very disappointing but not a disaster because like most Australians I prefer to dry my clothes outside on a line.
