More Bricks

Yesterday I was able to pick  up a third load of free bricks from Brenda and Stephen's neighbor across the street.  They are solid, strong, and heavy bricks with a color that is barely indistinguishable from  that of the driveway bricks.

But it was hard work, carefully loading 350 bricks then unloading them into a neat stack here on my property.  But the effort was worth it, given that there retail price for comparable bricks is $1.05 per brick, plus delivery.

I've stacked the bricks next to the pathway leading to the back of the house.  The plan is to use them first to pave a pad for the two garbage bins then to pave path leading from the back of the house toward the garage to the stone steps onto the driveway.
