Putting up the post of the carport had been a challenge. Each post had to simultaneously float in the concrete foundation, be plumb on two axes, have the sides square to the edges, and be at the correct height.
The sides of the garage are of calcium silicate blocks 8" wide. I laid an average of only 3 blocks per 3-hour session due to the overheads of mixing the mortar and cleanup afterwards. The angle iron arrived in long lengths which I then cut and welded to fabricate the trusses from which I can suspend 100 kg of weight at every meter.
The green car is my made-in-Japan Suzuki re-badged in Australia as a Holden Barina. It's a zippy little car, fun to drive with its 5-speed gear box and independent rear suspension.

The sides of the garage that have a huge roof are wonderful. That will keep the rain and sun off things. Chris
