Driveway Project Completed

Last Friday Kehu and a colleague worked until 2 PM to finish the driveway project.  They left the site clean and tidy, with only two drain pipes to be removed.  For me there will be the inevitable tidying up tasks such as smoothing the dirt right up to the edges.  It would be a waste of resources to have these finicky jobs done by skilled labor when I can do it myself to whatever standard that satisfies me.

I am extremely happy with every aspect of the job.  Working with Aaron was a pleasure.  He gave me good advice in the selection of pavers and delivered a solid and well designed result that should last well beyond my lifetime.  The bricks are rated for heavy trucks rather than the usual light trucks so I do not expect any problems from heavy loads.  His people were hard working, enthusiastic, and really cared about the job that they were doing.

A measure of Aaron's confidence is the fact that to date I have not paid his company a cent.  He told me to pay after I saw and was satisfied with the result.

Good things will probably come for him and his company from this job.  Two sets of Darlington neighbors have admired the work and have asked for cards of ABM Landscaping.  I'll tell Aaron about this and will tell him to feel free to use 6 Beenong Road as a reference site because I'll be happy to tell others of my experience.

The photos pretty well speak for themselves.
