| Rooster Home Again |
| Finishing Up |
Today I am expecting two of the men who will return to break down the scaffolding and carry it away as well as the many of their tools still on site. I am also expecting Mick Galvin the plumber who will install a water tap on the side of the house.
I'm trying to arrange a visit from Clint so that I can sign off on the work then visit the bank for a cheque for payment to him. I'm always very scrupulous about making prompt payment.
I've included a photo of the weather vane, which is back up and running after close to a year. I brought the rooster down, removed the rust from the stem, gave it several coats of paint, then found that I could no longer climb up the slippery roof. Young Paul was able to make the climb last week while he was helping me with the French doors.
