Kitchen Lighting and Sink

Brenda, Stephen, and I made our visit to Bunnings in Armadale as planned.

Fortunately Brenda and I were the only two persons at the lighting section and we were able to take our time in examining the selection of LED lighting.  I decided to install a rack of 4 independently aimed LED lights on the kitchen ceiling priced at $129.  I purchased a second set of these lights for the center bedroom, which is to be my office and is normally very dark.  For lighting over the sink as well as "mood" lighting I will try a  bank of 3 LED lights priced at $54.90 to be fitted underneath the overhead cabinet.  This plan may not work out if setting up the wiring for this light turns out to be too clumsy or unsightly.

We then wandered to the kitchen section where I purchased a sink much more suitable for the kitchen than the one I bought a few days earlier.  It has a smaller half sink and is of polished 304 grade stainless steel, making it more attractive that the one I had purchased earlier.  Unfortunately at over $300 it will be at more than twice the cost of the Estilo sink.  This sink must be specially ordered and I will get a telephone call during the week giving me the delivery time.  If the delivery time is acceptable I will go ahead with the order an get a refund on the Estilo sink.

I also purchased a Mondella "Resonance" side lever mixer for the kitchen sink for $99.00

I am eager to resume work tomorrow (Monday) morning.  I'll begin the discussion with Paul with the kitchen lighting and associated wiring. I'll then show him the work that I did on the front bedroom as requested by him, and we can discuss the work plan for the week.
